Ubiquinone (N) (Coenzyme Q10)
Natural enzyme derived from red oak. It is found naturally in all the cells of the body (and foods such as wheat, spinach and rice) but deficiencies are fairly common as the ability of the body to synthesize CoQ10 decreases with age. CoQ10 is a vital ingredient in the production of the body's raw energy and it plays as a supplement it can play an important part in decreasing blood pressure and slowing heart degeneration. On the skin it has similar functions to Vitamin E and helps to prevent wrinkles. |
Urtica Dioica (H) (Nettles)
The common nettle is highly therapeutic. Used internally it can reduce uric acid and ease gout and rheumatism and is an effective diuretic. Nettles are anti-inflammatory, astringent, antibiotic, deodorizing and stimulating. Nettles contain the highest concentration of vitamin E of any botanical and, used topically, are effective against the discomfort of eczema and burns. |
